Pining for Pins

To those of you that have a Pinterest: obviously the "thrill of the hunt" starts with the chase. Scrolling through pages, finding something inspiring/amazing/noteworthy enough to give up-to-the-minute updates with your friends (mostly on your phone...while you're at work.) But when is the last time you actually went back and surveyed your pin boards? Looked at the things that inspired you right then and there enough that you wanted to remember it for later? I urge you to go back and look, and remind yourself why you wanted to try a new outfit, or a new recipe, update your bedroom, or, you know, just look at corgis.

Friday the 13th

It certainly feels like it today. Normally I can let the day just slip by without even thinking about it, but today it poured buckets, my hair won't cooperate, I got three hours of sleep and I just want to wear sweats to my theatre job just this once. Hopefully my luck will turn around and I'll get some sleep and feel like accomplishing things tomorrow...one can only hope.

I can't wait to have a dog! Sometimes I wish that my apartment would allow me to have one, but with two jobs back to back almost every day and my long commute...I would never see the poor thing and that wouldn't be fair. So far the plan is to save up enough money and find an apartment with a little stretch of yard and put in the time at an animal shelter waiting for the right puppy-dog. Even now I'm always scouting PAWS and the Franklin County Animal Shelter websites.
